Ammonia nitrate fertilizer is dry and solid. It has one of the highest percentages of nitrogen content. It contains 33.5 percent nitrogen. As it contains 50 percent ammonia and 50 percent nitrate, it provides immediate and delayed nitrogen supplies to crops. Ammonium Sulfate Fertilizer contains 20.5% Nitrogen. Urea is also called carbamide. It is an organic compound with chemical formula CO(NH2)2. More than 90% of world production of urea is used as a nitrogen based fertilizer. Urea has the highest nitrogen content of all solid nitrogenous fertilizers in common use. In medicine, urea-containing creams are used as topical dermatological products to promote rehydration of the skin. Urea is also used for psoriasis and eczema. Alumina is aluminum oxide. Synthetically produced aluminum oxide(Al2O3) is a white or colourless crystalline substance. It is used for the smelting of aluminum metal. It occurs naturally in its crystalline form. The uses of aluminium oxides are in refractories, ceramics, polishing and abrasive applications. Large tonnages of aluminium hydroxide, from which alumina is derived, are used in the manufacture of zeolites, coating titania pigments, and as a fire retardant or smoke suppressant.
